Vaccines remain one of the most debated topics in health. With so many children and adults now facing chronic conditions, it’s natural to wonder whether health always needs to come through a needle—or if there are better ways to support the body’s own ability to stay strong and well. One important question that often comes up is: What role does natural immunity play?
I wanted to share a clear, thoughtful podcast episode from January 2021 that I’ve found very helpful. It’s from 'Your Health. Your Story' and titled:
“The Story Behind Vaccines with Dr. Lawrence Palevsky”
Dr. Palevsky is a pediatrician with over 30 years of experience studying vaccinations. In this conversation, he calmly reviews the science, data, and what he’s seen in his own practice—including the importance of natural immunity. He speaks in a straightforward, intelligent way that makes the topic easier to consider.
Why I Recommend Listening
A lot has happened since early 2021. New information and real-world experiences have come to light. Dr. Palevsky’s steady, honest approach is refreshing—especially at a time when asking questions wasn’t always welcome.
A Simple Reminder About Science
From Noah Webster’s 1828 dictionary:
Science means understanding truth and facts through careful observation and clear thinking.
A theory is built on solid evidence.
A hypothesis is an assumption to help explain what we don’t yet fully understand.
Science can always change with NEW evidence
Real science welcomes honest questions and continued study.
What Dr. Palevsky Emphasizes
He encourages parents to:
- Closely observe their own children
- Support natural healing and natural immunity through good nutrition, rest, fresh air, and lower stress
- Make informed choices based on complete information, not just routine practices
Parents are the most important decision-makers when it comes to their children’s health.
I hope you take the time to listen to the full episode. It’s a balanced and encouraging discussion. For more from Dr. Palevsky, visit: drpalevsky.com.
